CLASSWORK:
Mr. Clark arrived back from his four days away to find that his T.O.C. had not followed his instructions. Subsequently, today's class was used to see what topics had been covered, and what had been learned.
We used this class as a "Q & A" session and covered the following topics:
- The House of Commons and MPs
- The Cabinet
- How MPs Vote - (along party lines, or in line with the best interests of their constituents)
- Caucus meetings - their definition and purpose (and the meaning of solidarity)
- The concept of Patronage
- The Senate
- Majority vs Minority Governments
- Canada's Electoral Systems
