Monday, February 1:  (Course Introduction)

CLASSWORK:

• Today, Mr. Clark bombarded his poor students with all kinds of information on policies and expectations.  Though these were presented in a fun way, they are critical for success in this course.
• Items discussed include:
• Social Studies 11 Website: http://llss.sd73.bc.ca/socials11
• Test Correcting Policy
• Policy on Late Assignments and Missed Tests
• Please familiarize yourselves with all three of these.  Understanding how to navigate and use the website is critical.  Understanding the other two policies will be helpful for sure, but not likely as critical.
• Parents are encouraged to use the site to check grades, monitor progress, and check upcoming due dates and test dates

HOMEWORK:

• Students were asked to complete the "Website Navigation Quiz" (found on the home page of my Social Studies 11 Site in the center column of buttons (near the bottom).  These are to be finished for tomorrow (Tuesday, February 2)
• Students are also asked to return their signed course outlines and pink homework policies by Friday, February 5
