Tuesday, February 23 - CHAPTER 9

CLASSWORK:

Today's class was a preparation class for tomorrow's Chapter 9 Test.

First, Mr. Clark played four videos for the class, each can be accessed through the website under Chapter 9 Materials.  The videos are titled:

• Govt of Canada - Structure
• Intro to the House of Commons
• Parliament of Canada - The Senate
• Govt of Canada - Making a Law

Next, Mr. Clark demonstrated how students ought to be using their study guide - like a checklist where they would see what needs to be known, ask if they know this material, and if not, look it over using the locations Mr. Clark has provided to find this information (to avoid having to search for it). 

We then went through the entire Chapter 9 Study Guide, and reviewed all of the material.

For the final 25 minutes of class, Mr. Clark divided the class into teams, and we played a trivia game - where students were asked questions, pertaining to Chapter 9 material.  The class performed very well, and Mr. Clark is hopeful that all students will be successful on their Chapter 9 Test tomorrow.

HOMEWORK:

No homework was assigned today; however, students are reminded to continue to prepare for their Chapter 9 Test tomorrow.
